Today is Ride To Work Day. Something I would have previously ignored in my old jobs due to the distances I would have had to cycle but since I now live much closer to where I work I thought I would join in.

I've not been on my bike since moving to Oz back in Feb and before that it had been some time since my bike was last used too so this morning was the first time in funking ages that I had cycled anywhere. I've used some of the bikes at the gym but only for short stints and they're not like real bikes either.

So, today I managed the 9km from home to work in less time that it would have taken me if I had got the bus and train. A bit of a result methinks!

Maybe if the weather is nicer I'll do it again!
